On this 18-month programme, you’ll enjoy the chance to experience a number of roles in three different areas of CIB IT. You’ll spend six months in each division, which will give you a complete view of how IT contributes to the running of an investment bank.

The areas you could join include Global Markets Technology, Middle Office, Operations Technology, Project Management Office, Service Delivery, Technical Infrastructure Group, Global Transactional Products and Services, and Global CIB Architecture. These areas cover a range of disciplines to support all of our CIB business functions. So we employ Business Analysts, Business Support and Development specialists, Database Administrators, Developers, Infrastructure Engineers, Project Managers and Test Analysts.

Whatever aspect of IT work you’re interested in, you’ll find that our IT programme matches your ambitions. Each year, our top performing graduates also get the chance to spend time in a role at one of our offices across the globe, such as London, Hong Kong, Sao Paulo or Paris.

To join the programme you’ll need to be a South African national with a degree. This means you’ll be either in the final year of a relevant undergraduate or post-graduate degree course, or you’ll have a relevant degree with up to one years’ work experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Must be in the final year of undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS) or Computer Engineering.

Minimum one year working experience is essential.
