Earthworks Inland Plant Operations requires a Logistics Officer who will be required to:
1.Co-ordinates and consolidate, deliveries and deployment of goods and equipment
2.Ensure that all the necessary legal documentation required for border control is in place (Import and Export)
3.Ensure that all import procedures are put in place at the destination according to the project
4.Co-ordinating movement of freight via various methods of transport i.e. road, sea, rail and airfreight
5.Ensure proper management of document control relating to key functions
6.Handling of administration relating to the licensing of company vehicles / fleet for cross border
7.Handling of administration relating to the insurance of the company vehicles / fleet for cross border
8.Travelling Cross border to ensure process runs smoothly

Job Summary:
Filing and archiving of the daily logistics documentation and other requests.
Meeting Deadlines
Delivering working task in a structured and professional manner
Any duties relating to the management of the movement of the company assets and material as and when required by Logistics and Plant departments

Requirements:
Computer literacy with demonstrated experience in utilizing of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Power point
Strong administration skills
Knowledge and 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding
Minimum Grade 12 but a Diploma or Degree in Logistics will be an advantage
