Stewart Scott International (SSI) was founded in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1922. Registered as Stewart Scott (Pty) Ltd and trading as Stewart Scott International (SSI). A vacancy exists for a Professionally Registered (with ECSA) Electrical Engineer / Technologist to commence duties in the eThekwini office (Durban) in the Buildings and Structures Sector as soon as possible.

Main Responsibilities

Buildings services and lighting design

Project management as well as management of junior/ support staff regarding design work

Tender document preparation

Site inspection

Commissioning

Contract administration

Construction management

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience

BSc / BEng or B-Tech Electrical Engineering / relevant tertiary qualification

Professional registration with ECSA

Minimum of 5 years building services experience

Previous experience in RAMP projects will be advantageous or the ability to understand RAMP projects

Team player – mature, energetic, innovative and customer centric

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Able to work well under pressure

Ability to work flexible hours
