We are looking for a Halaal Supervisor for a company within the FMCG / Meat industry that is based in the City Deep area in Johannesburg South.  To supervisor the entire process of the Halal processing plant activities from the receiving of carcasses to packing and dispatching of meat products supervising Islamic rules and certification body standards.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 2-3 years relevant experience (Halaal)

 

Skills:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent Team player
• Good organisational skill required
• Computer skills in Microsoft word and Excel essential.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

 

Responsibilities:

• Quality checks on incoming raw materials such as carcasses prior to processing
• Monitoring the cold chain in the factory
• Follow up corrective measures.
• Regular reporting to the SANHA office
• Ensuring all quality parameters as per specification are followed.
• Checking pH, temperature and taking samples for lab analysis.
• Doing supplier quality assurance
• Cleaning chemicals or maintenance devices that come in contact with food should be
• Halaal compliance.
• Doing site inspections such as site walk, pest control, glass and light checks doing
• hygiene inspections.
• Stock control and monitoring of Halaal items and critical areas.
• Other allocated tasks
