To provide professional project management services to the International Business Division through planning, implementation, the effective utilization of project management principles, thereby contributing to the International Business Division delivering on its strategic objectives, sustainability and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities Customer Support
•Business solution management; Project management; Process Management
•IBD strategy and budget principles; People and relationship management; Service group contribution; Affiliate operations skills development
•Technology exploitation; Cost effective service deliver; Customer Service
Project Budget Management
*Administer budget spend actual vs planned
*Annual input into IBDs Planned Projects CAPEX /OPEX business plan/budget
*Conduct scoping of potential projects
*Compile business case with financial justification and present for approval
*Provide project requirements i.e. resources, CAPEX, OPEX for prospective/projected projects
*To implement and manage projects on behalf of the project office, in line with agreed methodologies and standards
Legislative Compliance Management
*To ensure that all projects meets the relevant legislative requirements of the various International Business affiliate countries
*Ensure adherence to Engen’s approved project methodology/system
*Regular updating of information to reflect on dashboards
*Continuous engagement and consultations with Project Consultants and Contractors,
*Continuous engagement and consultations with IBD Construction and Engineering team
*Ongoing engagement and consultations with Local Authorities and relevant Government Ministries
*Ongoing engagement with relevant local Affiliate stakeholders
Ongoing interaction with IBD CTO stakeholders
*ZETO Rule Compliance
*Risk Assessment Compliance
*Comply to Environmental regulations
*Conduct one HSEQ/Standards Audit per affiliate visit
Education & Experience
•Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree (Project Management)
•5 years operations / project management experience
•Engineering experience (preferred)
•Financial modelling (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes An in depth knowledge of:
•Petroleum Industry Experience.
•Planning and Strategy
•Advanced Computer literacy.
•Strong analytical problem solving skills.
•Good planning skills.
•Conflict management skills.
•Excellent communicating skills (verbal, written and presentation).
•Strong Administration orientation
