Reporting to the Hotel Manager , the incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the rooms division department (i.e. Reception, Housekeeping, Guest Services) to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
Minimum 2 years front office management experience or Rooms Division Management experience in a smaller establishment

Key Performance Areas:
Guest Service standards are met or exceeded.
Offering explained to meet customer needs.
Complaint, disputes and suggestions are acted on as per SOP: timeous, resolution, feedback.
Inventory variance balances to usage (security and control).
Sufficient stock (e.g. cleaning materials, OE, consumables, stationery) meets operational requirements and adhered to SOP.
Analysis and recommendations address market segment trends.
All SOP’s adhered to.
Budgeting aligned to Strategy and Operational Requirements.
DP targets are met (Achieve general expenses under Budget and Net Profit over Budget).
General appearance and functioning of area is maintained / reported as per SOP.
Staff, duty and area allocations according to business levels.
Shift briefings / handovers / shift reports / dispute handling as per SOP.
Company policies and procedures adhered to at all times.
Development Plans are managed as per HR guidelines.
Performance appraisals conducted as per unit SOP and HR policy.
Reporting meets business requirements.
