SUPPLY CHAIN CLERK 3 POSTS

SALARY : R 123 738 per annum (Salary level 5)
CENTRE : Capricorn District (1) (Ref: LDA41/14), Waterberg District (1) (Ref: LDA42/14) and Tompi Seleka Agricultural College (1) (Ref: LDA43/14)
REQUIREMENTS : A grade 12 certificate or equivalent while a higher relevant qualification will be an added advantage. Basic knowledge of supply chain duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collecting statistics. Basic Knowledge of Legislative Framework governing the Public Service. Basic knowledge of work procedures in terms of the working environment. Planning and organization skills, good interpersonal skills, basic numeracy skills, and good communication skills. Computer Proficiency skills will be tested.
DUTIES : Maintenance of supplier’s database, Administration of specification, Administration of official purchase orders, Facilitating payments of suppliers on BAS system, Render asset management, demand, acquisition, logistical and clerical support services.

Certified copies of certified copies will be disqualified. All shortlisted candidates will be subjected to security clearance. The successful candidate must be willing to sign an oath of secrecy with the Department. The appointment will be subjected to the verification of educational qualifications, previous experience, citizenship, reference checks and security vetting. Candidates with foreign qualifications are advised to attach SAQA accreditation of their qualifications. SMS candidates will be subjected to a competency assessment test and will be required to sign a performance agreement and an employment contract once appointed.
