SALARY : R123 738 per annum (plus benefits)

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 1 year relevant
experience. Should possess the following skill; good interpersonal relations,
good communication (written and verbal) skills: good office/telephone etiquette.
Computer literacy. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. Proficiency in
a variety of official languages will be an added advantage. Must be able to work
under pressure and be dedicated to his/her work and be prepared to work shifts.
He/she must able to communicate with employees/clients at all levels.


DUTIES : The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and effective and
efficient telecommunication service within the hospital. Render switchboard
service (attending to incoming and outgoing telephone calls, transfer calls to the
relevant extension, provide clients with relevant information, take messages and
covey to relevant staff, keep record of all database, allocate pin codes when
authorised. Maintain switchboard system (Identify and report telephone faults to
the supervisor, notify staff if the telephone system is out of order, record
maintenance of the switchboard and activate telephone extension when
