MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To assist and provide support to the sales team by performing all sales-administrative duties.

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Sales Administrator
Location: Roodepoort, Johannesburg

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:

1.Submission of sales applications:

Performing document QA on every application received and ensuring all application documents meets vetting criteria and is in a legible manner prior to submission.
Verifying that all information on a client’s application form matches the actual order submitted by the Account Managers
Ensuring all applications received from all Account Managers are logged within ten minutes of receipt.
Verifying orders against the promo list to ensure no mismatch of information on the Package Codes, Tariff Codes, Deal ID References, Pricing, Package, Handset and Inclusive Values
Confirming that all applications are signed off by a listed Director/Authorised Proxy.

2.Timeous follow up on application statuses:

Oversee all application processes from end-to-end.
Liaising with the fulfilment and vetting team to ensure every application is captured onto Helios and is vetted in a timeous manner.
Providing feedback to the relevant account managers on the statuses of their applications
Liaising with couriers to see through delivery of all orders.
Seeing to it that all contracts are activated in a timeous manner.
Conducting RICA registration on all newly activated contracts.

3.Producing reports for daily, weekly and monthly monitoring:

All logged sales are to be reported in the manner required and updated in a timely fashion with the appropriate information through every step of the sales process up to point of activation.
Daily Sales Report is to be submitted to management by 4pm (Activations and Pending Sales)
The Subscription Values of each contract reported is to match the billing/unbilled package amount against Eppix.
Daily Report of all activations are to be submitted through to the Account Managers for verification.

4.Query Handling:

Able to provide guidance to all staff on how to handle/resolve various account queries from clients.
Able to follow escalation processes in order to resolve any account related queries.
Drive resolution on any sales applications that has halted in the process due to roadblocks.
Ability to escalate queries / matters to management.
Filing, Ad-hoc reporting, Data Consolidation etc.

5.Other Admin Related Functions:

Filing, Ad-hoc reporting, Data Consolidation etc.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Matric
Minimum 12 months experience within a telecommunications environment
Proven track record of experience
Must have knowledge of the Mobile Telecommunications environment
Telecommunications product and industry knowledge
Excellent PC Skills (MS Office)
Ability to multitask and provide support to 20+ Account Managers

Package & Remuneration:
