Technical Support Engineer – Centurion Recruitment 2019

We are a leading distributor of Heat Pumps and HVAC equipment operating through a dealer network.
We need a technician who has hands on experience to provide technical support to dealers.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Supply a technical support service to our dealers and agents in the field.
• Run training sessions on the products for dealers, agents and installers.
• Prepare technical manuals for the assistance of dealers, agents and installers.
• Trouble-shoot problems over the phone and at customer sites.
• Visit suppliers overseas to obtain product knowledge and undergo training.

Requirements
• Must have minimum 4 years’ experience in the Hot Water Heat Pump/ Airconditioning Industry
• Ability to do fault diagnostics and problem solving
• A clear understanding of design and functionality of Heat Pumps including the refrigeration cycle.
• Strong administrative skills
• Good communication skills (English and Afrikaans) dealing with clients.
• Good communication skills running training courses for installers.
• Familiar with regulatory requirements on equipment (NRCS) National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications – an advantage.
• Easy access to Centurion.
• Able to travel locally and overseas in need.
