Job Title: Switchboard Operator
Location: Dainfern, Gauteng, South Africa

Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Market Related

Job Summary:
Ensuring that the switchboard is managed efficiently and effectively, while
understanding customer needs and responding appropriately in line with TIH
policies, procedures and values.

Internal Communications:
Use the internal communications system to access specific information
regarding TIH departments, brands and employees.

Receiving Visitors:
Receive visitors and assist with various requests for information, referring more
complex matters to colleagues.

Business Meetings/Events Arrangement:
Maintain appointment calendars and reserve meeting rooms following detailed
instructions to arrange business meetings efficiently.

Work Scheduling and Allocation:
Organize own work schedule each day in line with changing priorities.

Correspondence:
Manage correspondence in line with company rules and policies.

Client & Customer Management (External):
Ensure a positive experience for customers by having courteous interactions
with them.

Client & Customer Management (Internal):
Ensure a positive experience for internal customers by having courteous
interactions with them.

Education And Experience Requirements:
Matric – SAQA accredited
Basic experience of simple office / operational systems (4 to 6 months)
