Job Title: Talent Consultant
Location: Dainfern, Gauteng, South Africa

Job Summary:
Responsible for the implementation of the talent strategy framework and
activities for TIH; talent planning, succession & leadership development,
employee engagement, talent assessments and performance management.
Work within the Talent Management function to deliver and implement the broad
array of integrated talent management solutions to help the organization retain
and grow talent.

Future Talent Development:
Support the delivery of the talent management framework for Leadership
Development, employee engagement, succession planning and performance
management.

Talent Pipeline:
Assist business to identify and develop internal candidate talent pools for critical
specialist and management roles, developing a variety of talent development,
succession and engagement processes and tools.

Individual Candidate Assessment:
Assess candidates and provide feedback into the talent identification process;
observe assessment center activities and/or administer psychometric
assessments or work simulations; evaluate assessment evidence against
development or promotion criteria.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to deliver data-driven
talent solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible. Identify and manage
potential risk related to all talent development activities.
Provide assessment feedback to leaders to assist with hiring decisions,
promotions and development.
Develop and facilitate training with leaders and HRBPs on assessment and team
building workshops

Insights and Reporting:
Prepare and coordinate the completion of psychometric assessment reports.

Talent Data Analytics and Insights:
Deliver complex analyses of talent and psychometric data; identify key trends
and contribute to the creation of internal talent insights that enable the diagnosis
of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement
of business performance.
Ensure all leadership development, employee engagement, employee
engagement surveys, performance and capability data is tracked and available
for all reporting requirements.
Carry out complex talent and psychometric data processing tasks; advise
colleagues when needed and use expertise to help improve data collection tools
and administration processes.

Personal Capability Building:
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development
planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or
maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve
performance and fulfill personal potential.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and
industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and
reading specialist media.

Organization Structure:
Create role profiles for key existing and new roles; engage with managers to
clarify the scope of the role and develop a role profile.

Continuous Improvement:
Continuous focus on research and identify opportunities for improvement in
talent development processes and execute accordingly.

Organizational Capability Building:
Use the organization’s formal development framework to identify the team’s
individual development needs. Assist in creating individual development plans
and suggest actions to build their capabilities. Provide training or coaching to
others throughout the organization in talent management framework and
processes to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal and/or
the team’s potential.

Requirements:
General Education:
Honours Degree (Essential)
Registered Psychometrist (Essential)

General Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in a Talent Management and Assessment function (Essential)
Experience in financial services industry (Advantageous)
