The Aquarium: Grade 10, 11 & 12: Job Shadow Programme

Two Oceans is offering Job Shadowing to students from grade 10, 11 and 12. This programme lasts two days and involves observing and helping out behind the scenes and assisting in our vibrant Environmental Education Centre.

We are always flooded with requests to accommodate students at the ends of terms, but can only take a limited number per week; so book as far in advance as possible and try to get time off school at the beginning of, or mid-term.

Early applications always receive preference! Please note that we do not accommodate candidates over weekends or during school holidays.

How to apply

In order to apply, you need to fill in the details in the application form below.

Please note that you will need the following documents ready to upload from your computer, before you submit your application:

A letter from your school principal, Councillor or Life Science teacher confirming your interest in marine life/requirement to do a job shadow.

A one-page motivational essay prepared by you.

If your application is accepted, you will receive a letter of confirmation from the aquarium.
