Job Title: Quality Improvement Coach
Location: Alberton, Gauteng, South Africa

Job Summary:
Quality Improvement Coach:
Provide on-site and hands on QI coaching to mentors and area managers as well as assist in the coordination and management of all QI projects within a district.

Technical Work Responsibilities:
Assist staff with developing knowledge and skill in QI methodology
QI site visit scheduling, coordination and oversight
Conducting Learning Sessions and cluster meetings
Utilising DHIS/TIER.net data to inform and design QI initiatives
Documenting the change package for all Aurum supported districts
Documenting and distributing QI success stories
Develop monthly reports for Aurum
Lead sub district prototype projects

Duties:
Developing QI capacity among Aurum staff, area managers and Quality Improvement Facilitators
Continual self-development and keeping up to date with latest developments in the field
Conducting ongoing feed-back session with mentors and managers
Continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders
Continuous communication with management where necessary and relevant
Assisting at Cluster Meetings
Attending meetings relevant to QI

Requirements:
Education:
A minimum NQF level 6 relevant qualification
A certificate in QI training will be advantageous

Work Experience:
At least two years’ experience in improvement methodology or process engineering, LEAN or Six Sigma

Other requirements:
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, and routine database activity, word processing, spread sheet, graphics.
Computer literate: Efficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, STATA and spreadsheet application
Demonstrate knowledge of synthesizing information and presentation, knowledge of evaluation designs in HIV programs
Must have own car and valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel
