The Clothing Bank is a nonprofit fast Growing women’s empowerment enterprise that helps empower unemployed mothers through enterprise development with the objective of making them financially and socially independent. The Clothing Bank supports the goal of up-skilling and equipping over 1000 previously unemployed women per year to have the ability to personally change the course of their destiny.

Job Title: Training Manager
Job Location: Paarl branch, Western Cape

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the training programmes to ensure successful completion of training programmes by beneficiaries and that training is in line with The Clothing Bank philosophy
  • Plan, coordinate and schedule the Programme Calendar
  • Facilitate training
  • Guide and support the training facilitator team and assessing the effectiveness of training to ensure best delivery of the programmes
  • Develop training material to meet specific needs
  • Coordinate and monitor the mentoring and coaching of beneficiaries by mentors and coaches
  • Promote training programmes to external organisations
  • Coordinate and conduct the relevant surveys and assessments with beneficiaries to assess progress
  • General administrative duties relating to reporting, data handling, the monthly calendar and related matters
  • Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and encouraging the values and behaviours to support The Clothing Bank culture

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with a related tertiary qualification in Training/Education
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar or related environment
  • Experience in entrepreneurial development  will be advantageous
  • Administration experience
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is essential
  • Training facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Strong time management and attentive to detail
  • Decisiveness, initiative, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
