The Equal Education Law Centre is a team of activist lawyers working to advance the struggle for quality and equality in education, through legal advocacy and strategic litigation. The EELC works closely with our sister organisation, Equal Education, a movement of learners, parents, teachers and community members, working for quality and equality in South African education, through analysis and activism.

Job Title: Litigation Intern
Job Location Cape Town
Start date: 01 March 2019
Duration: Five months

Requirements:

• An LLB qualification
• Strong research and writing skills
• Candidates must be willing to learn and to work under strict deadlines
• Ability to work in Khayeltisha, Cape Town for the duration of the internship
