Vacancy Details

Well-established engineering firm seeks to employ an HR Officer (Generalist) at their premises in Paarl.

 

For the position you would be required to have:

• National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
• Around 4 years’ HR Generalist experience
• Industrial Relations experience
• Experience in a unionised environment essential
• Site/plant operational experience essential
• Technical recruitment experience essential

 

Responsibilities would include you to:

• Full employee life cycle in HR functions
• HR admin functions
• Recruitment and selection, internally and externally and liaison
• Induction program for new employees
• Process all termination paperwork and exit interviews
• Facilitate roll-out of HR policies and procedures
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
• Liaise with payroll and assist all employees on staff benefits
• Assist HR Manager with roll-out of company campaigns
• Update leave records, timesheets, skills development, monthly reporting
• Increase letters, new position letters, contract extension letters, etc
