Office of the Chief Operations Officer
SALARY : R270 804 per annum (Level 9)
CENTRE : Pretoria
REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate three year Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification plus a
minimum of three (3) years proven relevant experience or Senior Certificate plus
a minimum of six (6) years relevant experience. Good communication (written or
verbal) skills. Minute taking skills and attention to detail. Experience in office
administration. Basic knowledge of the MTEF process. Understanding of the
Minimum Information Security Standards. Advanced computer literacy in MS
Office. Willingness to travel and work long hours.

DUTIES : Provide personal, secretarial and logistical support to the Chief Operations
Officer. Effectively manage the diary of the Chief Operations Officer. Ensure the
effective flow of information and documents to and from the Office of the Chief
Operations Officer.. Participate in the compilation of the Office budget and MTEF
processes. Attend to telephonic and electronic enquiries. Make travel
arrangement for the Chief Operations Officer, including visas, accommodation.
Assist with the coordination of special activities such as meetings, interviews,
workshop and events. Accompany the Chief Operations Officer on visits
(nationally and internationally) as and when required. Execute any other duties
as directed by the Office.
