Do you have excellent experience with vehicle diagnostic and mechanical repairs to join our very well-established client based in Epping? We require your dedicated work ethic to join this A-Team. This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to interact well with clients. We are requiring an individual who is looking for a long-term career.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 plus valid qualifications
• Proven experience as auto mechanic technician preferably with 3 or more years workshop experience and diagnostic experience.
• Technicians’ own tools will be a requirement
• Valid driver’s licence & own vehicle
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Excellent physical condition

DUTIES

• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic system to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conducting routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
• Extensive client liaison
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
• Keep logs on work and issues
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
