The Tomorrow Trust is a non-profit organisation created in 2005 to support orphaned and vulnerable children throughout their educational journey. They work with government, business and ordinary South Africans to realise the vision of a society with conscious and holistically educated leaders; where all children have a real chance of success in academics and life. They design and deliver world-class holistic education programmes, supporting orphaned and vulnerable children and youth from the playground to their professions.
They unlock potential by creating learning environments that are both challenging and supportive to in still the sense of belonging and purpose we all need to thrive. They have proven that by offering holistic education, by helping our learners and students find their identity, meaning and purpose in life, they radically increase the like hood of academic and life success. By seeing learners and students as more than orphaned and vulnerable young people, and more than future employees or workers, we create the space for them to discover and reach their potential. They know that academic persistence and grit are developed by helping young people feel like they belong and by giving them opportunities to take risks, to experience failure and success. Personal growth emerges from this combination of challenge and support and these form the foundation for the skills and expertise South Africa needs in future generations of leaders.
