Where do you want to be?
We are looking for the best and brightest minds in South Africa to join our Sales and Marketing team within our Telematic Unit. The experience and future opportunities will include the support of the TomTom Telematics South African team and sales partners/resellers in co-ordination of marketing, office admin/support, sales/order processing, and marketing projects, in an effort to grow TTT business in the South African marketplace – including possibly attending events/exhibitions, and demonstrating product (or acquiring) product knowledge. Requires lateral thinking and creative and i maginative ideas. Administration/document management must be competent. Must work within TTT guidelines and procedures. This role will have some autonomy, with support, guidance and supervision from the South African team and also TTT International Sales & Marketing Coordinator based in Europe. Responsible for promoting and driving the sales of TTT’s goods and services, by directly supporting the South African sales manager, team and partners, to ensure the growth of TTT market awareness/brand in the region.

As a member of the global Sales and Marketing team, you will have to deliver the following:

  1. The primary purpose is to assist in the administration of the sales and marketing and provide support to TomTom Sales and Marketing team, resellers and partners;
  2. Update/Manage marketing budget/approvals on a monthly basis and enter purchase orders within an agreed timescales;
  3. Understand/Support marketing/partner-marketing initiatives/events/opportunities;
  4. Be an expert on the execution of sales and channel sales processes – including document flow between customers, partners, potential partners, and TTT;
  5. Maintain the sales contract process – from receiving signed contracts through the processing of orders;


What do we expect from you?
To be successful as a Sales & Marketing Administrator, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

  • Mid-level education and of 2 years Sales experience;
  • Knowledge/understanding of social and digital marketing campaigns and update current marketing material
  • A background within marketing/administration, experience in a similar role
  • Excellent/strong written and verbal communication skills within and outside of the organisation
  • Research and administrative skills
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and expectations, be motivated, diligent and results driven
  • Understanding/experience of planning, organising, co-ordinating events and functions
