Programme Apprenticeship: Tool, Jig and Die maker
Location – Country South Africa
Location – Province KwaZulu-Natal
Location – Town / City Durban
Programme Description Albert Wessel’s Technical Training Centre has vacancies for apprenticeships in the following disciplines: Tool, Jig and Die makers. The incumbent will be placed in an hourly position for the duration of the Apprenticeship. There is no guarantee of a permanent placement at the end of the Apprenticeship. Placements will be vacancy driven.
Key Job Functions Incumbents will be trained in the Tool Jig And Die Making discipline.
Qualifications and Experience Mechanical Trade
NTC3 or Technical Matric with Maths, Engineering Science, Technical Drawing, Graphical Design and Mechanical Work.
Workshop experience and a trade related subject (mechanical work).
Ex-NTIP (National Tooling Initiative programme)/TDM (Tool, Die and Mould) training would be an advantage.
