Key Performance Areas
End-user, infrastructure support and maintenance
•Diagnose software and hardware problems
•Assist staff with computer desktop and laptop maintenance
Software/Hardware Repairs
•Hardware maintenance
•Install and configure new computers and other IT equipment
•Repair and upgrade different types of computers (software and hardware)
•Physical setting up of computers and software system installation for various computer applications and programs
Printer, scanner and copier repairs
•Identify problems and repair printers, and scanners and escalate accordingly
Adhoc IT related requests
•Assist staff with IT related problems when called upon
•Utilise Helpdesk system to support IT requests
•Carrying out other duties as may be requested by management
•Willingness to work rotational shifts
Requirements
Required Minimum Education / Training
•Grade 12
•IT related certificate
•Diploma in any field of IT (added advantage)
Required Minimum Work Experience
•1 – 2 years working experience
