As a transport permit administrator the main purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth application for transport permits in the Eastern-Cape area in a cost effective manner

Role Responsibility

  • Daily liaison with the Ale Head Office in Somerset West
  • Daily liaison with the Eastern Cape Department of Transport
  • Permit submissions
  • Follow up and collections and distribution of exemption permits
  • All administrative duties involved in the above and others

The Ideal Candidate

  • Grade 12
  • Preferably 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate in English and Afrikaans both verbally and in Writing
  • Reliable
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to work irregular hours
  • Ability to communicate well with people at all levels
  • Ability to think on your feet
