Job Title: IT Project Coordinator
Location: Gauteng

Job Summary:
The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organized. They communicate with various departments to keep everyone on board about any changes to the project plan. In addition, they organize reporting, plan meetings and provide updates to project managers.

Reporting Structure

This role will report directly into the IT Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the relationship between IT and other stakeholders.

Develop, prioritize, coordinate and communicate the goals and processes necessary for implementing projects.

Proactively provide the IT and business community with information concerning specific projects and timelines.

Act as a liaison and conduit for informatio flow between the IT, business and stakeholders.

Prepare engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.

Minimise exposure and risk on projects and escalates to IT management.

Ensures project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately on SharePoint & Teams.

Manages the activities of the various work streams that make up the overall project plan, i.e. change management and the procurement process.

Communicate the project updates and issue logs to the project stakeholders on a weekly basis.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Senior Certificate

Certificate in Project Managment would be advantageous.

Relevant Experience

3 – 5+ years relevant IT experience in industry would be beneficial.

3 – 5+ years experience in project management.
