The Southern Africa Trust is an independent regional non-profit agency, established in 2005, to support organisations in Southern Africa to participate more effectively in policy dialogue so that policies and strategies across the region work better to end poverty.
The Southern Africa Trust seeks applications for internships in the following areas:
The Trust will provide remuneration in the form of a stipend.
Costs relating to travel, living and accommodation will however be borne by the Intern.
The Interns will be required to sign a code of conduct as well as an internshipagreement with the Trust stipulating the terms of contract.
The Trust’s Organisational Strategy, Operational Plans, Organisational Policies of the Trust, and the Scope of work will guide the work of the Programme Intern. The interns will receive guidance from the relevant functional teams.
Details of the scope of work and responsibilities will be agreed with the intern on appointment.
The purpose of the Internship Programme is not to lead to further employment with the trust but to complement studies, skills and experience. There should therefore be no expectation of employment at the end of an internship.
Forward your CV, confirmation that you have completed or are enrolled in a post-graduate degree programme, explanation of your interest in the work of the Trust to [email protected].
Closing Date: Tuesday, 25 July, 2017
Include “The Trust Internship Programme” and the internship area in the subject line.
Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
