A leading Fibre Network Operator, is in search of an IT Manager within the KwaZulu Natal or Gauteng Office.

Job Title: IT Manager (Telecoms/Fibre Industry) – Gauteng/KZN

Job Sumamry:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage (define, implement, control) Group IT strategy aligned to the Group subsidiary’s strategies.
Manage IT policy aligned to Group IT strategy.
Continually seek to make the Group more profitable through continuous innovation.
Manage (acquisition, implementation, support and maintenance) all application software, middleware and database as required by the Group, including inter-alia:
Systems analysis
Systems design
Business process design and documentation
Training
Manage (acquisition, implementation, support and maintenance) Group IT infrastructure. This includes:
servers,
end-user devices,
LAN,
WAN,
Internet,
Multi Function Devices,
fixed-line PABX & mobile devices and
cloud based solutions.
Compile annual capital and operating budgets and ensure the IT function performs within budget.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Knowledge, qualifications and experience
Relevant IT certification and relevant Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent three-year qualification).
Software Development Lifecycle management experience.
A+/N+ certification.
Project management qualification (PRINCE II or MS Projects)
Attended and completed POPI compliance training
A minimum of 5 years IT management experience.
5-10 Years business and systems analyst experience.
A minimum of 7 years working experience, in an IT role in a national telecommunication company.
