Two years college studies in a Social Science, Humanities, Arts, Business, or related field. 2. Two years of progressively responsible workexperience in administration or general office work involving public contact and the application of complex regulatory requirements.3. English level IV (fluent). (This will be tested)4. Must have strong interpersonal skills to deal with the public.5. Must have the ability to recognize those cases requiring special or expeditious attention.6.Must be proficient in the use of all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite 2007. (This will be tested)|
Basic Function of Position: The position attends to applicants for U.S. passports, persons reporting births of U.S. citizens abroad, those inquiring about U.S. travel warning or visa requirements for U.S. passport holders, or requesting registration in post warden system at the American Citizens Services (ACS) window. The position also provides requested forms or information materials, accepts and processes passport applications, reports of births, and registration of American citizens residing in South Africa.
