In order to address the projected skills shortage of artisans and fulfil social and labour plans requirements, UMK offers Engineering Learnership Programme in 2018. The successful candidates will follow fulltime training programme which will safety quality them to maintain equipment In any organisation. Learnership offered in the following trades:

• Electrical x2
• Fitting x1
• Diesel Mechanic x1
• Plating & Welding x2

Requirements

• Matric — Grade 12,
• Minimum N2 -with 4 trade related subjects,
• Effective communication end inter-personal skills
• A teem player,
• Attention to detail,
• Good mechanical insight and comprehension,
• Valid code 8 drivers license,
• Must pass the prescribed medical entry examination,
• Must pass the TTB evaluation tests and interview,

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal and co-workers adherence and compliance to Company’s Health and Safety policies
• Undergoing training in the appropriate trade and qualify as an artisan
• Participate In the Learnership programme and Pass all relevant On and Oft the job assessments.
• Deliver quality work at all times
• Perform allocated duties it all times
