The purpose of this job is to ensure correct and timely registration services to prospective and registered students at Unisa.

Requirements

  • An appropriate 3 year tertiary qualification
  • At least four (4) years experience in administration and student registration in a tertiary institution
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations of the University`s qualifications, curricula and admission requirements
  • Proficiency in the use of English (verbal and written)
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal relations
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work overtime (after hours and Saturdays)

  • Experience on the Student System

 

Knowledge, skills and capabilities

  • Processing registrations
    • Checking and finalizing registration applications
    • Data capturing and checking admissions documents
    • Verify of curriculums
    • Updating and maintenance of student records
    • Processing exemption applications
    • Providing advice to students

 

Assumption of duty : As soon as posible

Salary : Remuneration is commensurate with the seniority of the position
