We currently have a position available for a Sales Representative in Tlokwe- Potchefstroom

Minimum Requirements:

3 years experience
Valid South African Drivers’ License

 

Job Specification

ACHIEVE SALES BUDGETS – DAILY / WEEKLY / MONTHLY
Call regularly at all retail customers, distributors & own outlets

Build good & consistent relation between rep / customer and company / customer
Check stock rotation
Check stock availability
Monitor delivery service
Sell full range to customer (All packs, brands & products)
Monitor opposition activities / threat
Address problems (Customer)
Control / advice counter prices
Maintain / display P.O.S material
Communicate info from brewery to customer (new products / packs, changes, projects)
Cash /Container/Stock/Assets control at own operations.

Manage distributors

Monitor delivery service via retail customers
Call regularly at all distributors
Control / advice with retail & consumer prices
Assist / plan delivery routes / days and loads
Monitor DSM performance
Communicate / discuss sales info receive from brewery / market
Assist with cost control
Plan how to increase sales
Monitor stock levels
Monitor stock rotation
Maximize availability of full range
Manage DSM

Check D.A.C reports weekly
Do weekly route riding (check route list, service queries, km travelled, route times, cost control, price abuse, sales info & vehicle control.
Implement / update route lists
Monitor sales / budgets monthly
Individual DSM / rep meetings – 2nd Weekly
Communicate daily
Do vehicle inspections – weekly / monthly
Monitor / address cost control monthly
Monitor new customer documents weekly
Sell full range

WHY?

Increase sales / achieve sales budget
Ensure proper delivery service to retail customers
Be cost effective (route plans, vehicle control, speed limits, sales volumes, promotion beer & material, sour / damage beer)
Prevent abuse
Be updated at all time (opposition threat, quality, stock out situation, sour beer, distributor & DSM service, pricing, problems, product availability (reduce opposition threat)
Team building (DSM – distributor & their drivers)
Counteract opposition (Info, actions implemented, more regular calls, team work, product availability, service, product quality)
Extend customer base

Market development daily / weekly (increase sales, price control, product availability(reduce opposition threat)
Counteract opposition threat (increase sales & profits)
Communicate regularly with management – solve problems increase sales
Manage / collect debtors
Do monthly / weekly / daily plans customer wise
Be professional and cost effective
Maintain company vehicle
Do promotions
Accept all responsibilities / duties in area
Manage own operated outlets (cash, stock, staff, assets, building, performance) Depot – Beerhalls – ZoZo’s – Outlets
