Specification
To lecture General Surgery modules to the undergraduate students, conduct bedside teaching and demonstrations in the theatre at teaching hospitals, assessments of students including examinations management and engage in research and publications activities, participate in curriculum development, provide service to the academic and wider community, and perform any other duties as may be required.

Requirements
A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree, Master’s degree and / or Doctoral degree (PhD) in the field of specialization, plus Fellowship from a recognized college. Registered or registerable with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA), demonstrated at least one (1) year or more clinical / lecturing experience at Lecturer level and a satisfactory record of research and publications will be an advantage.
