Vacancy Details

Our client in the Boland is in need of a Maintenance Technician  whose job will be in servicing, maintaining, sanitation and storage of all production equipment.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

• To assist in maintaining, storing and sanitising all the food contact tools.
• To assist in maintaining the process equipment temperature control unit.
• To assist in maintain the hand washing system taps.
• Efficiently carry out maintenance on the machinery (Mechanical and Electrical).
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform mechanical maintenance.
• Timely identification and reporting of deteriorations in the condition of machines.
• Provides input on replacement of (production) installation and improvements regarding maintenance work.
   

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Grade 12.
• Qualified as a Fitter & Turner will be advantageous.
• Min 2 years’ experience maintaining  machinery in a food manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
