We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef who is responsible to provide the highest level of hospitality standards within the bakery and pastry department across restaurant and banqueting outlets.

Job Summary:
As a Sous Chef, you will manage the kitchen ensuring that the culinary service standards are met, conduct training with staff to meet the standards, together with the Executive Sous Chef manage staff’s performance and conduct, contribute to planning of food menu offerings including costings, estimate food consumption & requisition or purchase food, ensure kitchen stations are prepped, stocked and run efficiently during service and monitor and maintain the guest experience by ensuring that every one of our guests receive personalised attention and experiences every time.
Requirements:
-At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy, up-market establishment
-Track record of Leadership
-Flexibility
-Own transport
-Work shifts
-Use of kitchen technology
Competencies:
-Neat and professional.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Excellent culinary knowledge
-Product knowledge of hotels, competitor’s, and the city.
-Team leadership / mentorship
-Food and Hygiene safety
