Senior Sales and Marketing Manager

Purpose of the role:
The Club Sales & Marketing Manager to manage, train, motivate and control the Sales team in the pursuit of the team’s set goals and budgets in order to contribute to the club’s budgeted profitability.

Key accountabilities:
Managing an effective member and corporate consultant team
Monitor and manage performance of the individuals and the team in order to meet individual and team budgets
Performing administrative and all management functions in line with daily, monthly and quarterly deadlines
Performing manager on duty (MOD) duties (Fitness and Fitness Plus only, other club types as required)
Manage an effective sales and marketing team
Ensure a full sales team providing the relevant training
Monitor and manage performance of the team in order to meet individual and team budgets and targets
Perform all administrative and management functions according to deadlines, quartely, montly and daily

Key skills and experience required:
Strong sales and marketing experience
solid management experience
have a good knowledge of customer service
Matric essential
tertiary qualification an advantage
previous background in sales and marketing
previous background in managing teams effectively
