Senior Financial Analyst role in the Sub-Saharan Africa Finance team, recognized finance expert in Visa within their geographies.
Leads the finance process: coordination, analysis and review of financial data to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all inputs & outputs and to maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP), statutory financial and tax laws and corporate policies.
Provides leadership to cost centre managers by presenting findings and analysis to management in a timely and professional manner in the form of documents, PowerPoint presentations etc, including relevant graphs, charts and waterfall slides.
Revenue Analytics: The business requires in-depth revenue and volume analysis for better and on time decision making.
Analysis would include: Analysing and mapping revenue streams. Volume trend analysis (International vs. Domestic).
The position would be responsible for detailed forecasting of the revenue drivers in the region.
Lead the production of the key business drivers (e.g. volumes, transactions, etc) for use in strategic planning, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
Proactively share resources and provide general support as required to Senior Director for Sub-Saharan Africa.
Proactively identify and propose areas to develop the sub regional business and financially support the development of the sub-regional strategy.
Manage the pricing and interchange related discussion concerning the covered markets, to include the impacts of both pricing and interchanges on Client profitability.
To manage ad hoc/monthly/quarterly/yearly analysis of Market and Client trends to be used by the all supported departments and the Group Country Manager’s.
Proactively share resources and provide general support to the Country Managers as required. Consider and advise on financial implications and assist the Business Development staff in Member statistics and financial analysis.
