The purpose of this position is to provide highly skilled technical and information security expertise for the development and implementation of the Company Risk Framework and improve consistency whilst improving the overall IT security.

Job Title: IT Security Manager
Location: Pinetown

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct the company’s information security compliance program and ensuring IT activities, processes, and procedures meet the company requirements.
Manage the development and implementation of policies and practices to protect confidential & sensitive data
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
Lead the company’s Cyber Security Framework compliance program with the objective of meeting the Cyber Security Moderate and Privacy Baselines
Maintain the Group’s PCI-DSS compliance for Corporate Stores and direct the program to assist all Retailers to achieve PCI-DSS compliance
Recommend remediations and operate with a high degree of independence in matters relating to the investigation, impact, and analysis of security incidents, decisions regarding risk and network security
Ad hoc duties as required by management
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in IT or another related field
Information security related certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CGEIT
5 years’ experience in IT security
Knowledge of information security risk frameworks and compliance practices
Ability to develop security standards, guidelines and policies
Ability to document risk and compliance activities
An understanding of policy development and dissemination
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience
Understanding of common security and privacy standards, regulations, and laws relating to a retail business
