Vodacom Careers for Warehouse Assistants (3 Vacancies)

Main Purpose
To accurately receive, return and replenish stock in accordance with the agreed performance and SLA’s with the Warehouse.

JOB OBJECTIVES
Inbound Functions

Receiving stock , return stock , stock control, replenishment
Reverse Logistics
To accurately return stock as per SLA

Inventory Functions

Ensure that daily cyclical stock takes are performed.
Attend and resolve all audit reports issues daily.
Make sure that all discrepancies on the variance report are resolved daily.
To perform quarterly stock taking

Housekeeping

Ensure all stock received are stored in a correct locations.
All pallet received are labelled correctly.
Ensure that all pallets in the ware house meet the specified height and width requirements

Administration

Ensure that all the purchase orders are captured and filled accurately.
Ensure that all the returns documentation are filled and captured accurately

 

REQUIREMENTS
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of Telecommunication industry
Working knowledge of Health and Safety processes and requirements.
Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Knowledge of TQM exposure

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Matric is essential
Relevant 1-2 Years Diploma/Certificate NQF Level 5 (Logistics/ Warehousing Qualification) (desirable).
1-2 years’ experience in a Logistics/Warehouse/FMCG Environment – essential
