Job Title: Finance Intern
Location: Kisian, Kisumu, Kenya; Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya

Contract Type: Contract 6 Months
Salary: Market Related

Job Summary:
The Finance Intern will work closely and provide day-to-day financial and accounting support to the Finance office and gain skills and experience valuable for professional development. She/he will be supervised by the Finance Officer.

Duties and responsibilities:
•Updating the standard registers and trackers as developed by the finance department.
•Vendor communications and vendor relations management on payables.
•Verification of source documents, contracts, and invoices for payment.
•Processing cash reimbursements and other remittances for payments.
•Filing and finance records management.
•Any other duty assigned by the finance officer.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
•CPA section II
•Must be proficient in MS Office Excel
