Web Developer Vacancy: Artwise Design – Northcliff

We’re looking for smart, enthusiastic, Mid/senior web developer preferably with a tertiary qualification. You should be someone who is looking for a career, not just a job. Must be serious about your profession and be able to land in your new job with flying colours from day one!

Job Requirements
• Excellent knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, Java script and SQL Languages.
• Experience with Adobe software. (Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop)
• Majoring in PHP and MySQL
• Well-structured development for re-engineering
• Database schema and relational modelling
• Experience with customising of open source CMS systems (eg: WordPress, Joomlah)
• Experience with building custom CMS systems

Advantageous
• University Degree
• Experience with Zend Framework
• Competency in multiple programming languages
• Ability to consume vast amounts of great coffee
• Experience with social media platforms and apps

Personal Skills/Attributes
• Willing to work in a team as well as motivated and disciplined to work individually
• Innovative thinker
• Keen to explore and research new ideas and ways to develop web based material
• Good people skills for client liaison.
• Not a clock watcher
• Ability to work under pressure where tight deadlines are the rule more than the exception
