Woolworths is looking for Foods Department Managers who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service through maximizing selling opportunities for allocated Foods Department , and the execution of operational excellence and development of a motivated Foods team
Minimum Requirements

Minimum Qualification: Matric
Experience Required: Retail management experience

Candidates must be Durban based, and preferably have their drivers licence and own transport.
Job Specification

Foods Departmental Manager
Main Purpose:To deliver exceptional customer service through maximizing selling opportunities for allocated Foods Department , and the execution of operational excellence and development of a motivated Foods team.
Key Outcomes
Ensure the delivery of a consistent customer shopping experience in line with the agreed service levels.
Provide input into customer profiles and communicate updates to line management.
Implement all Foods departmental activities against budgets and business plans e.g. staffing.
Ensure departmental sales are in line with the agreed budgets.
Maximise selling opportunities for Foods in the store via selling space, displays, layouts, commercial sales plans, demos.
Manage the Foods Sales plan and Implement the Foods trading note guidelines.
Manage Foods operational standards and ensure that controls are adhered to for in-store shrinkage, waste and stock accuracy.
Ensure that shop-keeping disciplines are continuously in place in the allocated department through managing FSC disciplines.
Ensure timeous replenishment of stock.
Hot Foods Standards Managed
Accurately and timeously complete daily Stores Foods processes to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
Conduct weekly risk documentation
Develop, recruit, retain and lead a competent and motivated Store Foods team.
