The Forum of Young Global Leaders (www.younggloballeaders.org) is an independent, Geneva-based foundation set up in partnership with the World Economic Forum. Its mission is to build a unique, multistakeholder community of the world’s most extraordinary leaders under the age of 40, improve their leadership skills, and give them the opportunity to work collaboratively on projects that will address key issues facing our world.

The community includes heads of state and government, politicians, CEOs of multinational companies, entrepreneurs, scientists, journalists, artists, social entrepreneurs and civil society leaders. They work on projects to address global challenges with particular focus in the areas of development and poverty, global governance and security, environment, health and education.

You will be responsible for new and existing members of the community, with a particular focus on the Middle East and South Asia. In addition to these community-building efforts, you will coordinate the Young Global Leaders (YGL) task force work and have functional or project responsibility with the YGL directorate. You will be responsible for the selection of new Young Global Leaders from South Asia and the Middle East, and the relationship management of new and existing members from those regions. You will also be responsible for the project management of 2-3 YGL initiatives and embark upon engagement trips to both regions to gather, share insights with and look for potential YGL candidates. You will also be responsible for the event management associated with the India Economic Summit and the World Economic Forum on the Middle East, at which private YGL programmes are held.

Person requirements We expect you to have a Master’s degree and 3-5 years’ relevant experience with a proven track record in responsible positions. You are flexible and adaptable, and speak fluent English and ideally Arabic or another Middle Eastern or South Asian language as well. You have a very good command of office applications – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

You will join the Forum as part of our Global Leadership Fellows Programme www.weforum.org/glf. As such, you will be fully integrated in the World Economic Forum and benefit from an intensive work and learning experience intended to develop and train future leaders of global enterprises and international organizations.
