South Africa: Inland Operations Coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The incumbent will be part of a team of coordinators on a job rotation schedule and will execute one or several of the following functions:<br \/>\n<strong> 1) Equipment Control:<\/strong><br \/>\nPlan and monitor stock levels and turn-over times<br \/>\nDrive depot performance in preparing equipment<!--more--><br \/>\nControl supply to customers, initiate re-supply or evacuation of stock to meet target levels<br \/>\nMaintain accurate and timely equipment tracking<br \/>\nMinimise cost of local equipment movements<br \/>\n<strong> 2) Rail Transport:<\/strong><br \/>\nSecure transport capacity from TFR and monitor execution (time, volume, location)<br \/>\nHandle manual and electronic documentation process<br \/>\nMaintain internal operational systems<br \/>\nEnsure data quality is maintained between all entities involved<br \/>\nMaintain acceptable transit times as advised from time to time<br \/>\n<strong> 3) Rail Execution:<\/strong><br \/>\nLiaise with and represent the company towards TFR staff and management<br \/>\nPlan, order and monitor the railing of containers<br \/>\nPlan and monitor stock at TFR facilities<br \/>\nAssist truck operators<br \/>\nInspect and classify containers for different purposes<br \/>\nLiaise with government agencies such as SARS and Boarder Police on occasion<br \/>\n<strong> 4 )Road Transport:<\/strong><br \/>\nArrange local trucking moves<br \/>\nAssist customer service agents with longhaul and local delivery truck moves<br \/>\n<strong> 5) Finance &amp; Systems:<\/strong><br \/>\nMaintain all services ordered on operational financial systems<br \/>\nEnsure 100% accuracy and timeliness of financial system updates<br \/>\nResolve queries and mismatches against thight deadlines<br \/>\n<strong> 6) General:<\/strong><br \/>\nParticipate in process improvement projects\u00a0(e.g. cost saving, service delivery)<\/p>\n<p
