The successful applicant will be required to perform a sales function for the Nelspruit area whilst ensuring the Business Units targets and service levels are achieved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed Grade 12<\/li>\n<li>Completed Diploma (beneficial)<\/li>\n<li>Driver&#8217;s License essential<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 3 Years Sales experience in an FMCG, wholesale environment<\/li>\n<li>Supervisory skills will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of the FMCG, wholesale industry is a must<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Target achievement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Calculate rate of sale and negotiate orders with buyers accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Manage stock levels, expiry dates and returns in store.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and communicate pricing to Key accounts<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate promotional activity<\/li>\n<li>Implement promotional plans<\/li>\n<li>Communicate product range changes to management and Key accounts<\/li>\n<li>Monitor target achievements<\/li>\n<li>Use deals provided by Key accounts to negotiate deals at buyer level<\/li>\n<li>Manage process of sell in prior to price increases and expiry<\/li>\n<li>Address all pricing and delivery issues<\/li>\n<li>Sell new lines in to stores<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate ad hoc displays<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate forward share in relation to market share<\/li>\n<li>Ensure shelf health is maintained according to Perfect outlet standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Effective admin:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure customer records are maintained<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Merchandiser attendance register is up to date<\/li>\n<li>Ensure opposition and trade information is communicated according to company requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure price surveys are completed on time<\/li>\n<li>Ensure records of all company equipment or assets are up to date<\/li>\n<li>Keep returns records up to date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Effective customer and Business Unit relationships<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure a good working relationship is maintained with both management and floor staff in stores.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate all issues and provide solutions where possible.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the call cycles and communicate any changes to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the merchandiser follows the call cycle<\/li>\n<li>Handle all queries in a professional and effective manner.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to store policies and procedures at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Effective management of merchandiser<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct floor walks with Merchandiser<\/li>\n<li>Brief merchandiser on all cycle priorities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a clear understanding of objectives<\/li>\n<li>Provide on the job coaching if required<\/li>\n<li>Keep Area Sales manager up to date on conduct issues.<\/li>\n<li>Manage staff in line with company policy and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Feedback to Area Sales Manager on all conduct and absenteeism issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and think ahead<\/li>\n<li>Impact and influence others<\/li>\n<li>Composed and resilient<\/li>\n<li>Focus on achieving results<\/li>\n<li>Deliver customer service<\/li>\n<li>Communicate Clearly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>End Date:\u00a02013-05-20<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Click on the &#8220;Apply Now&#8221; button below to apply online<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you passionate about taking your sales career to the next level within this JSE Listed player in the FMCG arena?
