Job Purpose
\nTo assist operations management to manage the day to day functions of the complex by reporting on daily activities.<\/p>\n
Education
\nMatric\/ Grade 12.
\nB Degree or equivalent or Tertiary qualification from a recognised hotel school.<\/p>\n
Experience:
\n2 years management experience in a hotel industry
\nSkills and Knowledge
\nAccuracy\/ Attention to detail.
\nCommunication.
\nSelf-management.
\nNumerical ability.
\nOrganising and planning.
\nProactivity.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:
\nMonitor daily operation
\nOperational standards monitored and reported as per SOP (e.g. housekeeping, preventative maintenance, safety, health, security and environmental, SOP manual, etc)
\nStandards, procedures and house rules communicated to relevant departments in the value chain
\nEnsure that all restaurants and banqueting areas are properly secured after the close of business.
\nEnsure that kitchens which have been closed down for the night have been checked, and that no equipment is left on, particularly deep fryers.<\/p>\n
Reporting
\nReports prepared as per requirements (general, daily, etc)
\nManagement are kept informed of current and potential information
\nCorrectness and completeness of information, data and presentations
\nReport deadlines are met<\/p>\n
Customer services
\nExpectations met or exceeded
\nProduct\/ service standards are met or exceeded
\nMystery guest targets are met or exceeded
\nTimeous response to complaints achieve customer satisfaction (turnaround in perception)
\nCustomer retention
\nEnsure constant communication with Gaming managers, for prompt food & beverage Service<\/p>\n
Intra\/interdepartmental liaison
\nDaily performance feedback to operations management
\nMeetings attended as per schedule
\nStakeholders (including staff, manager, internal customers, concessionaires, etc) are informed of information required to meet their needs and contributes to operational effectiveness
\nEnsure that service providers have enough management & staff in line with business requirements
\nEnsure that all maintenance requirements are reported and dealt with timorously<\/p>\n
