{"id":11666,"date":"2013-07-01T06:59:48","date_gmt":"2013-07-01T04:59:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=11666"},"modified":"2013-07-01T08:55:39","modified_gmt":"2013-07-01T06:55:39","slug":"electrical-engineering-heavy-current-graduates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/electrical-engineering-heavy-current-graduates.html","title":{"rendered":"Electrical Engineering Heavy Current Graduates Jobs (4 Vacancies)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Electrical Engineering Heavy Current Graduates<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div><strong>Advert Code:<\/strong> SABS18288<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>To receive an on job training relevant to his\/her career by being exposed to both administration and technical aspects of the relevant field by following an approved training programme.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Key Performance Areas:<\/div>\n<p><strong>Conduct test and generate test results including the reporting thereof in the Laboratory:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Plan and prepare to conduct tests<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Receive all samples from clients in order to test them<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Conduct manual and \/ or automated tests and generate test results<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Record generated test results<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Interpret the results and generate reports<\/p>\n<p><strong>Apply calibration and maintenance procedures within the Laboratory:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Prepare and apply calibration procedures<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Demonstrate the appropriate maintenance and basic trouble shooting required<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Calibration and verification of equipment<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Process proficiency samples<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Participate in in-house validations<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Write reports on all tests conducted<\/p>\n<p><strong>Participate in maintaining the quality management system and accreditation (where applicable) in the Testing Laboratory:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Conduct all activities assigned to maintain the Quality Management System and Accreditation<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to relevant safety principles<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Maintain all aspects of the laboratory\u2019s quality system in accordance with the Quality Manual and the laboratory\u2019s accreditation to the relevant ISO standard e.g. ISO 17025, IEC CB Scheme and OHS requirements<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Ensure responsible housekeeping with in the work area or as directed by the line manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deliver excellent customer service for the\u00a0 Testing Laboratory:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Provide excellent customer service by meeting and exceeding the client requirements as per their requests<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Handle queries and resolve problems within sphere of control<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Resolve customer issues within the desired time frame<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Follow up on customer queries, complaints etc. where necessary<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Delivery beyond the client expectations<br \/>\n<strong>Optimize own performance within the team for the Testing Laboratory manufacturing Business Unit:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Participate as a productive team member<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Manage own performance in order to meet departmental objectives<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Value diversity and actively build business relationships<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Ensuring that one is able to seek guidance and mentorship from more experienced team members where necessary<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ensure that all administration and reporting is kept up to date (within scope of control):<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Submission of weekly, monthly reports,\u00a0 time sheets and any other related documentation<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Submission of claims e.g. subsistence and travel timeously and accurately<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Submission of all reports (weekly, monthly quarterly) etc. within scope of control on time<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0You will receive a 12 Months Fixed Term Contract which you will get after reading and accepting all the policies and procedures as provided by the SABS<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0You must have a Degree \/ Diploma in (Electrical Engineering \u2013 Heavy Current)<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0You will be remunerated R5000, 00 per month as an allowance<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0You must have register with SARS and submit your Tax Number to HR<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0You will be given access to (Telephone\/Internet &amp;
