\n3 years experience as Sustainability officer<\/p>\n

\n4 years experience as Sustainability officer<\/p>\n

KEY RESULT AREAS
\nMaintenance of Sustainability Function
\nResearch and develop strategies including global best practise and implement plans of action on identified areas of sustainability
\nEnsure that these plans of action are implemented throughout the business units<\/p>\n

Communication and Training<\/strong>
\nPrepare and present on-boarding to new staff to create awareness regarding the Group\u2019s environmental and sustainability philosophy and activities
\nPlan and implement education and awareness events for staff
\nProvide input and guidance to all Departments that require information on implementing environmental and sustainability processes
\nFacilitate training and education on environmental and sustainability issues. Prepare the content of education and awareness training for staff
\nDevelop communication plan and implementation for education campaigns<\/p>\n

Reporting<\/strong>
\nFollow up with external service providers and internal divisions to obtain reports, and sort, store and analyse data as required for reporting purposes
\nFacilitate the collation of accurate environmental data on a monthly or quarterly basis as required for inclusion in the annual integrated report as well as for CDP
\nPrepare and submit quarterly reports on required aspects of sustainability to direct manager.
\nPrepare reports including for Board and Exco meetings and for the annual integrated report
\nEnsure that data required is received and that same can be verified
\nFacilitate the collection and capturing of response on SRI \/ Dow Jones requirements and submit reports as requested
\nFacilitate the resolution of any queries received from the JSE and Dow Jones.<\/p>\n

General Functions\u00a0<\/strong>
\nCo-ordinate environmental Committee meetings, follow up with committee meeting outcomes, drafting of minutes and agendas
\nAttend to any additional matters relating to the portfolio as requested from time to time<\/p>\n
