What is the Downstream Challenge Programme?<\/strong><\/p>\n Downstream Challenge is BP\u2019s early development programme for technical and professional disciplines within the downstream segment. The aim of the programme is to build fully competent independent professionals within the disciplines to support the business delivery across the South African Business. It is a competency based-based programme which provides graduates with practical experience and formal learning while building discipline foundations.<\/p>\n Downstream Challenge covers the following areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n There are three general disciplines we recruit into \u2013 engineering, science and business. But the opportunities within each of these are incredibly diverse. So whichever area you join us in, you could find yourself applying your talents at any point in the energy supply chain.<\/p>\n How long will I be a Challenger?<\/strong><\/p>\n Downstream Challenge can last between two and three-and-a-half years and may consist of rotations depending on the business discipline requirements.
