{"id":12570,"date":"2013-07-02T08:44:50","date_gmt":"2013-07-02T06:44:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=12570"},"modified":"2013-10-09T05:20:18","modified_gmt":"2013-10-09T03:20:18","slug":"jp-morgan-technology-graduate-jobs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/jp-morgan-technology-graduate-jobs.html","title":{"rendered":"JP Morgan Graduate Programme (Technology): Massive Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>JP Morgan Graduate Programme<\/h2>\n<p>JP Morgan are looking to hand graduates the opportunity to gain work experience within their Application Development Department located in Johannesburg, South Africa<\/p>\n<p>The graduate will complete rotations in the GTI and Application Development Department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of Job<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>To provide day to day technology service support and supervision, do technical development\/coding and ensure that all local business functions receive the appropriate service levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Problem identification, resolution and coordination with Hub teams<\/li>\n<li>Moves, adds and changes of workstations, server equipment, network equipment and voice equipment<\/li>\n<li>Install Operating system on PC\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Network cabling and patching<\/li>\n<li>Application support<\/li>\n<li>On site vendor supervision<\/li>\n<li>Technical design and documentation of all supported technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Disaster recovery technical design, documentation and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft SQL server DTS\/SSIS package development<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft SQL server SSRS report development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Developing Excel Add-Ins connecting to SQL database Business Analysis<\/strong>: Writing business requirements and assist with user Acceptance testing<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic T-SQL skills<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of relational databases, tables, view, stored procedures, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under tight deadlines, with a high level of flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with initiative<\/li>\n<li>Wide understanding of the following technology towers: Desktop, Distributed computing, Voice (trader and standard), Networks and internetworking<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft experience \u2013 server and workstation.
