{"id":12696,"date":"2013-07-10T08:26:52","date_gmt":"2013-07-10T06:26:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=12696"},"modified":"2016-11-23T11:30:46","modified_gmt":"2016-11-23T09:30:46","slug":"standard-bank-business-support-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/standard-bank-business-support-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Standard Bank Business Support Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Standard Bank Business Support Manager<\/h2>\n<p>Job # 1528325\/4174: Manager: Business Support and Recoveries (Standard Bank of South Africa)<br \/>\nLocation: Rosebank Gauteng (South Africa)<br \/>\nMarket Related Salary<br \/>\nPermanent senior level position at Standard Bank of South Africa in the Financial (Banking) industry.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage distressed debt and equity accounts originating out of the Corporate &amp; Investment Banking portfolio (including Real Estate Finance)<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Analyse business to identify and understand the problem causing the financial distress<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Analyse the bank facilities including a review of the legal facility and security documentation to assess the current security position and where appropriate take additional security<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement solutions for credit recovery on accounts in order to secure debt, stabilise accounts or turnaround where possible<\/li>\n<li>Be involved and influence client visits and negotiations to manage credit recovery processes including restructure and or renegotiation of facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Attend and influence consortium meetings from a business risk perspective<\/li>\n<li>Attend and prepare for meetings with creditors<\/li>\n<li>Understand the requirements of the Companies Act with respect to Chapter 6 &#8211; Business Rescue; and actively represent CIB in such matters<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice to various stakeholders on credit recovery and liquidation \/ receivership processes<\/li>\n<li>Oversee preparation and submission of liquidation claims and manage liquidation process through to recovery<\/li>\n<li>Brief attorneys and counsel and oversee conduct of litigation on behalf of the Bank<\/li>\n<li>Report to the Watch list and NPL Committees and implement decisions there from, as well as update the relevant schedule\/s on a monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the default data base in terms of the Service Level Agreement with Credit Analytics for Non Performing Loans on individual portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Assist in managing and developing junior team members<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the drafting of sound legal documentations and scrutinise agreements including but not limited to facility agreements, consortium agreements, security agreements and mortgage charges, in accordance with set risk parameters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:<\/p>\n<p>Ability<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>analyse and understand financial statements<\/li>\n<li>formulate credit-granting policies<\/li>\n<li>prepare reports on credit ratings of customers<\/li>\n<li>manage, develop and coordinate client pricing strategies<\/li>\n<li>analyse and interpret information<\/li>\n<li>check and review credit payments<\/li>\n<li>interact with people at all levels<\/li>\n<li>make accurate calculations<\/li>\n<li>manage turnaround times and approval statistics<\/li>\n<li>assist the Collections portfolio manager in developing the Business Lending collections and recoveries strategies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/standardbank.careerjunction.co.za\/car\/job\/jobvuw.asp?p=1&amp;adno=1528325&amp;pageno=A&amp;adv=-1&amp;inf=0&amp;comtype=3&amp;comloc=-1&amp;reczoneNo=-1&amp;cofilter=0&amp;cokeywords=0&amp;cotype=all&amp;reu=1&amp;refer=car\">Click here to Apply online<\/a><br \/>\nDeadline: 01\/08\/2013<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Standard Bank Business Support Manager Job # 1528325\/4174: Manager: Business Support and Recoveries (Standard Bank of South Africa) Location: Rosebank Gauteng (South Africa) Market Related Salary Permanent senior level position&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[5],"tags":[1828],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
